A. Brent Corwin, P.E.
Brent has been an Electrical Engineer with Allgeier, Martin and Associates, Inc. since 2006. He has performed design and planning services for a variety of rural electric cooperatives, municipalities and investor-owned utilities. He has been the Project Manager on a multitude of projects ranging from design drawings and specifications for new Distribution and Transmission Lines to Substations. He is often called upon for short & long-range planning studies, site inspections, coordination studies and arc flash studies. Brent has expanded into assisting clients with PV, EV charging and wind turbine load analysis.
David Brown, P.E.
David Brown began with Allgeier Martin in 2022 as an Electrical Engineer specializing in distribution. He interned at Allgeier Martin at the beginning of his engineering career. David has experience with the design and testing of electronics and electronic systems and power systems for UAVs, battery storage and management, and communications. Since 2013, David has worked in Battery Energy Storage for building and grid, transmission and substation planning, and NERC compliance for cooperative utilities.
Emma Marsh
Emma is a Marketing Coordinator for Allgeier, Martin and Associates. As part of the marketing team, Emma writes an internal employee newsletter, assists in proposal development, and administers the company’s client relationship management system. She also has created and executes a social media strategy.
Jared Nichols, P.E.
Jared is responsible for the planning, design, and construction administration of municipal water and wastewater treatment plant projects. He also designs stormwater and transportation projects. As a structural engineer Jared completes structural designs for small facilities, industrial applications and performs structural analysis.
Michael Judd, P.E. (retired)
Michael is an electrical engineer serving primarily on the Distribution Team. Michael manages development of Construction Work Plans, Long Range Plans, Sectionalizing Studies, Arc Flash Studies and Spill Prevention, Control and Counter Measures Plans. He also develops utility line relocation projects, new distribution line staking projects and inspects completed work order construction. When he is not serving Distribution Clients, he enjoys remodeling his family home.
Michael Jones, P.E./S.E.
Michael is a structural engineer serving primarily on the Electrical Substation Team. Michael manages substation projects and the design of the structures and foundations. He also oversees the implementation of Autodesk Inventor for the design and documentation of electrical substations. Additionally, he automates assorted workflows via code and is a champion of DRY. Gabe Lett, FSMPS, CPSM
Gabe provides marketing leadership for Allgeier, Martin and Associates. He regularly writes and teaches on marketing and business development topics for the A/E/C industry. He earned his Certified Professional Services Marketer designation in 2012 and become a Fellow of the Society for Marketing Professional Services in 2020.
Nic Jessip, P.E.

Sarah Simon, P.E.
Sarah Simon is experienced in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, analysis, design and stormwater permit compliance. Her experience includes design and analysis of stormwater features and permit compliance with multiple agencies. She provides research for legal cases, calibrates hydrologic models with real-world rainfall data, determines the limits of encroachment on streams and designs multiuse detention basins.
Michael Keaton, P.E.
Michael Keaton provides engineering for Transportation, Stormwater, Wastewater and Site Development projects. Michael has gained tremendous knowledge in project management and excels in both public and private engineering markets.
Todd Koenig, P.E.
While with the U.S. Geological Survey, Todd completed flood data collection, interpretation, and dissemination. He studied and reported on large-scale flooding and managed a national database of flood-related data. Todd authored the USGS guidance on high water mark hunting methods and taught on this topic at numerous conferences.
Michael Atkinson, P.E.
Mike has 25+ years of experience as a civil engineer, with a strong focus on transportation, paving, and structural projects. His experience includes bridge design and rehabilitation, roadway, street, and intersection design, site development, hydraulics and stormwater.
Charles Patterson, Ph.D., P.E., CFM
Dr. Patterson’s work includes hydrologic modeling of watersheds ranging in area from 0.0005 sq. miles up to 750,000 sq. miles, determination of water surface profiles, and design of detention basins and energy dissipation structures. He supports many projects with hydrologic and hydraulic calculations such as site development, bridges, roadways and stormwater handling facilities.
Charles taught as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering at the Missouri University of Science and Technology, Rolla, Missouri (August 1998 to 2008).
Bryce Barton, Ph.D., P.E.
Bryce is a former employee. He led design projects for transmission line systems from 34.5kV to 500kV.
Bob Sell, P.E.
Bob Sell is a Civil Engineer with Allgeier, Martin and Associates, Inc. Bob’s main area of experience has been in the planning, design, and construction phases of municipal and rural water and wastewater systems. He has also gained experience in various fields including site development and storm sewer design.
Kurt Higgins, P.E.
Kurt is a Senior Vice President with Allgeier, Martin and Associates, Inc. He is responsible for municipal water, sewer, stormwater, and street developments, civil site development, industrial park planning and design, hydrologic/hydraulic analysis and design, cost estimating as well as construction plan development for transportation. Kurt serves as City Engineer for a number of municipalities in the area.
John Briggs, P.E.
John Briggs performs feasibility studies, quantity and cost estimates, project specifications and construction plans and details. He performs these tasks for water and wastewater systems. This includes both treatment planning and design as well as the piping and pumping of both potable water and wastewater.
